Barclays Premier League Match Predictions January 22-23-24 2011


Premier League action this weekend sees league leaders Manchester United host Birmingham, neighbours Manchester City who have the same points as United visit struggling Aston Villa, but with Villa’s new signing Darren Bent likely to make his debut could Bent score and help Villa to a shock win over City?

Third place Arsenal entertain third from bottom Wigan, many would predict a comfortable win for the Gunners but Wigan have sprung some surprises this season despite their lowly position. Chelsea who are 8 points behind leaders Man United play on Monday and face a difficult trip to Bolton.

F A Cup 3rd round predictions for Premier League teams


The F A Cup third round takes place this weekend and its this round where all the Premier League teams enter the competition. The F A Cup is famous for producing shock results and plenty of drama, its famed for the underdog often taking the scalps of teams from higher divisions.  So, what surprises and shocks are in store for the third round of the F A Cup?

The big match of the 3rd round has to be Manchester United v Liverpool, with Roy Hodgson’s job dangling on a knife edge, a defeat for Liverpool against United will surely be the end of Hodgson’s reign.  Arsenal face Leeds United and the Gunners will be looking to ensure they dont slip up. Here we give our predictions on which of the Premier League clubs will go through to round four.

Premier League Match Predictions January 1st and 2nd 2011


Its almost the start of a brand new year and the Premier League once again braces itself for shocks, surprises and upsets.  Our Premier League match predictions have been a great success, we are leading BBC regular and football expert Mark Lawrenson (Lawro) by 15 points since the season started in August 2010.

As the new year starts, our Premier League match predictions for January 1st and 2nd are now available.  Although our match predictions are purely for fun our success rate on correctly forecasting results and correct scores is to be envied throughout football as a good guide to help you beat the bookies.
